I am camp;ing in meroo and met afriend from ulladulla apparently a couple of days ago his team played an annual game of cricket at mitlon showground. Some fool in a monster winnebago had parked his van between the show shed and the pitch, yep you guessed it, a nice pull over mid wicket smahed into the side of his new van. He then drove (assume he had a tow car) around and started to have a go at the cricketers, only thing some of the players were council workers, he was not parked legally and they told him he may in fact be stealing electricity.
He upset both sides, he moved his van, but every batsman from then on aimed for his van. (my mate usally hits the over the shed, but on this day he pulled his shots and missed the wineguard by inches but hit the top.
If one has a $250+K bago they perhaps should think before they park. And dont abuse cricketers on their pitch.
reminds me of a place we pulled up at couple years ago,
some guy said we were parking on his lawn , his caravan was on the other side of the park road , we stayed there, that night, next morning told the council park ranger about this **** and he said the guy was a twit.. (who yelled at us) some people think they own the place..

Just goes to show that if we are free camping we need to check on the area to make sure it is not being used for other purposes last thing we want is to create a problem and end up having the option of free camping removed thus spoiling it for every body else.
