I'm back(oh no)

Hello folks,

It's been some 10 months or more since I posted but I would like to come back into the fold .Those of you that know me would understand that we've had a bit to deal with after Reece's accident.

I won't go into detail but he is coping well and working hard to improve his situation,so much so that I feel comfortable resuming my travels

I plan to leave Brisbane for WA in February via the grandkids in Melbourne, to spend 6 months or so exploring the state,in particular the Kimberley region, doing as much fishing as poss and enjoying the company of whom-ever I may meet.

That's about it..I have been keeping an eye on the Forum and look forward to being part of a strong network of fun and support to all who enjoy the freedom of being on the road.

Cheers

David

Welcome back David.

I remember when your son had his accident. It must have been a trying time. Great you are able to get back into your travels again.

Welcome back mate. I'm pleased to hear things are getting better for your son.
It's been more than 12 months since Woomera.
I skipped through Brisbane last week on my way home from Emerald. If I knew where you were I would have stopped by. Anyway, if you're travelling via Adelaide feel free to call in for a cuppa and a chat. I seem to recall a bottle to share being on the agenda.
Just email me when you get closer.

I also do not know you or me David but welcome back. I have been on here since October 2011 and had great advice and fun. I have also met a few GN's and I am heading up to Townsville from Wonthaggi (Sth West Gippsland Vic) a few days after Easter, on the road for 5 weeks and 1 in Townsville, up the middle and down the coast. This will be my first so called big trip EVER.

Hi David,

Welcome back!!!

I have wondered how Reece (and you) were going. Good to hear that he is doing well and that you are able to get back on the road.

Safe and happy travels.

Good to see you back on-line David.  I'm at my friends' place.  Hubby goes into RBH tomorrow for work-up to Transplant.

Only fly in the ointment at the moment is a cranky rooster who hates me.

Cheers,

Sheba.
