WA Police Survival Guide

http://www.police.wa.gov.au/LinkClick.aspx?link=PDFs%2fAidsToSurival_2007.pdf&tabid=1337

This link will take you to a manual produced by (for?) the WA Police covering survival techniques that may help people when stuck in the bush somewhere. Given the discussion around that lady who had to walk out of Hattah Kulkybe it might be worth  knowing some of the points it raises.

I keep a copy in the Troll at all times - you never know!

This comes courtesy of another forum I frequent.

Perhaps a mod could make this a "sticky" on this or another forum as i think it is valuable information for everyone.

We don't have moderators on this forum Joe.  Might I suggest that you PM Cindy who is the webmaster

G'day Joe, thank you for the link to WA police survival guide, it is a fascinating document and written in such an easy to understand fashion.

It is all so easy to do, wont cost an arm or leg, but it could cost a life if travelers ignore the warnings of outback travel.

thanks again,

cheers,

ozi2
