Learning something new everyday...Pick this place!

Hi everyone, I would just like to say thank you to all the contributors to Pick this place. I love seeing the daily photo's, interesting comments about the history of the location etc and with over 3000 members with something to post if you have'nt checked it out and like to test the brain cells....have a go!(the process of posting pics is simple)

cheers,

ozi2

The latest one seems to have them perplexed though, I might have to give some clues

I agree a thread such as 'Pick this Place' is very good for learning about interesting places around the country..

But I believe it's best to give a lot of clues if it hasn't been found quickly, rather than drag it out.

There needs to be some challenge with it of course.. But the more pictures of interesting places that come along the better, rather than it be a contest to just stump everyone.

One of my favourite threads.... loved the Post Office pics Jim.
I find that our photos are more often just beautiful scenery shots, but theres not much to distinguish the actual area. Oh well, got to take more photos!

It has turned out to be a great thread.  I think it best to keep it moving with roughly a 3 day limit, using clues roughly after the first 24hrs.

Cheers

Jon
