Workmans Beach, QLD

smile Site number 115, Camps 5. Great little spot 1 km south of Agnes Waters . Council run and $5.50 a night a single .Toilets, water and cold water open air shower. Coin operated BBQ and plenty of tables. Quite sandy but 2wd easily accessible. Plenty of shade and well sheltered from howling winds. About 30 metres above the golden sand beach, an easy 5 minute walk. A nice spot, recommended.

Is it accessible for caravans/motorhomes Bob?

Oops, just googled it. Tents and small vans. Bumma! Sounds good otherwise.

Getting a Caravan or coaster in is not a problem, however, finding a suitable site could be bothersome as most sites are smallish , especially in peak season. Also, heavier vehicles break  up the sandy surface much quicker, hence the recommendation for lighter, smaller setups

Hi Beth,

Was there last year.  Shouldn't be aproblem with your setup.  Some photos on early pages (think page 2) of Qld meets thread.

Cheers,

Jack
