It would be nice to be forewarned, but Cindy might have to deal with legal problems of the caravan parks claiming they'd been defamed. Badgers reports are a handy guide.

I agree with GD, it could be a legal nightmare, take a scenerio where a park is accused of being grotty after say an unforseen incident at the park which made it seem grotty.

Maybe you could give the general area, without being too precice delapan, and if we are gonna go in that direction we can pm you? I dont think there'd be a problem with pm's, would there?

I have seen on here before people have made commet such as i wouldnt go back to such and such again... and if members wanted more information why that could PM you

I think thats ok its only somebody commenting on a place but if there was a specific topic running down places then they maybe able to take action against the web owner, not sure of the legal side of things.

So best not to go down that track me thinks

ps yes wombat i agree with you, but its a sad day when the service/price stinks and if you speak your mind r in for law suits !!!

I must admit I stilll do not understand how posting a negative comment on a public forum by a forum member can make the forum owner open to a law suit.

It beggars belief.

silly law really, but if the web owner has control over the site then they MAYBE considered to be responsible for what it contains and Cindy can delete a topic when ever she wants and can be considered to be under her control and we don't want anything to happen to her site, do we
