Nah! CG has been off the air because my Bigpond went west somewhere. Somehow I jagged getting back online again today. Thanks for thinking of me.
Yesterday was a really bad day to be 150metres from the amenities block. It started at 0530hrs with a funny tummy. By the time I get my key in the door it wasn't funny anymore. The pains and cramps were overwhelming. So the round seat and I became well-acquainted for about an hour, as the camps persisted, the sweat oozed from my furrowed brow, and I became too weak to leave.
The cramps subsided long enough from me to attempt to return to the van, only to return to my gut when I was halfway there.
I even had to intrude on the cleaners' cleaning, and when that bout passed, literally, I retired to a chair in the breezeway at the entrance to the bathroom, so the cleaners could finish cleaning, and I could make a hasty entry, should the need arise.
The breeze kept me cool, and I dozed until the bathroom was clean and reopened. Gastrolyte became my friend.
So I spent the day suffering, sweating, sh..ting and sleeping - - not necessarily in that order.
Today I'm just weak and fragile, eating toast and drinking herbal tea, treating my digestive system very gently, and so far, all is well.

So sorry to hear that CG. What an experience. Hope tomorrow brings a better day. Take it easy, dry biscuits or toast won't hurt for a few days till you are back on track again.

I thought I was reading a novel then CG with very descriptive writing indeed. I got the picture instantly and no comment.

Glad you were in a caravan park at the time, might have been even worse on the road with a big load behind.

Thanks my friends. Today I'm still feeling weak and fragile, with a slight headache from the dehydration.
It was a virus with more downs than ups. Just nausea.
Thanks for the comment on my writing Doug. It's something I've been doing for a long time. I'm not published yet, but one day, maybe. I have written 10 books - collections of anecdotes of life, including a couple of childrens' books based on these anecdotes.

Just spend a few hours with Chris, record it all and you will have enough to print a best seller.

But make sure you include her on the royalties list. And if you really want it to sell, put her picture on the cover.

Yes Chris, I've finally come out from behind Mas' skirts.

Aw shucks. You're embarassing me, but thanks.

G'day Blue, nice of you to join us instead of peeping over Ma's shoulder.

My books are everywhere but published. If you google me you may stumble across a few of my blogs. I haven't blogged for a while because it's a bit fruitless. It's a good forum to expose some of my stuff, but nothing is in book form of any kind yet.
I live in hope to be "discovered" one day. Better still, sell a bewdy to cover the costs of the rest of my life and leave a legacy to my kids who are totally unaware of what I can do.
By the way, what is "Kindle"? Please explain.

Chris - a Kindle is an e-reader - just a brand name.
