SNUG

We are in Snug now for a week.;

Not a bad van park, amenities are good although I might suggest bringing your own bath mat as the dry area soon becomes the wet area.

No rain here, well not yet anyway.

Someone told me that the take away in Snug made the best Thai food.  Did I hear right, does anyone know.

I think we are across the bay from Mr. Landfall??

Hi Ma,

I went past the park today to see if I could spot you.

The shopin Snug is Korean and they do turn out some great food, cheap.

A bag of chips for just $2.00, and a decent helping at that.

You are not across the bay from us, you are about 15 minutes away.

We didn't get here till around 4pm Dusty and are up the far end under the willow trees.

Will try the Korean food tomorrow night.

Think I know the general direction of where you live just didn't know which side of the bay or whatever that you were on.

Will catch up soon.

8AM and there are flathead in the boat already.

Big problem though, its not my boat and they didn't invite me to join them. I'll just have to recharge the kayak battery today and get out early tomorrow.

Kayak with batteries? Come on Blue! What happened to paddles? Batteries in a kayak. Hmph, what next!

The battery runs the motor, by not paddling the kayak I do not sweat. If I sweat whilst paddling, the sweat drips into the water causing pollution, thus I am doing my bit to preserve the planet.

And I recharge the battery using solar power, so I'm doing my bit for climate change as well....

And silent too Blue so you can sneak up on the topless bathers......oops I meant sneak up on the fish.   I saw one with an electric motor being used at Lake Leschenaultia and was impressed with how quiet they were.

Great for both adventures you describe Vic.

The only sound from my kayak happens when the battery runs down after about 90 minutes of cruising. Thats when the paddle comes out and it swears a lot.
