Now that's the way to do it Tezza, well done. Did you make that yourself? I could see myself in that on cruising up and down the Murray River.

When in a caravan park last year a car towing a large boat pulled in to a drive through site for the night.Their boat was used just like a caravan.

Welcome to the forum redz47. You might be better to start you own thread with the query. May get overlooked on this one,.

I have also seen a motorhome/caravan configuration pull into a caravan park. I thought it was brilliant. How versatile, but not sea worthy. Only suitable for rivers, lakes and estuaries and quiet inshore waters.

I am very seriously thinking of building a boat to use as a caravan once I've done the lap with my camper.  Been around boats all my life.  Doesn't have to be seaworthy, just lake and riverworthy. Would like to travel the waterways  of this country. Seen a few designs that fit the bill.  Now too old to wake up in the middle of a stormy night on a lee shore and worrrying about the anchor holding or whether to move on. Plus won't take the dog to sea.

Now to sell the house and yacht.
