"Pav"  You won me there Beth.   Been many a year without a homemade Pav...Supermarkets sell mass produced glug which make ideal rodent traps.

Well, I have to be honest here. I can't make a good pav to save myself. My sister got that gene. But I can make a good trifle! biggrin

confuse Much prefer a good trifle especially with some plonk to a pav but either will do as the current diet is a bit bland. biggrin

OK, now we have everyone dropping in on the Grey Nomads. Just the way we like it.
Mmmm, snags, chops, pav, trifle. I'm there. In fact I just gained 2 kgs reading about it.
I keep find all that weight people are losing, and they don't want it back. Bugger!

I can't blame Christmas, although I probably could attribute some of it to Cupie and Mrs. Cupie. They fed me Christmas left overs for the 2 days I stayed there after Christmas on my way home from Emerald. Cupie baked the best ham. My taste buds went into overdrive over that home. Yummy!
Yeah, I know I took the long way home.

Open invitation to all GN's.

If you're travelling through Gin Gin you're all welcome to pop in.  I'm just off the highway (Bruce),you can see it from my place.
Parking for your rig opposite my house although slight incline.  But always hot shower and cup of tea or whatever.

Just PM me.

Cheers,

Jack

Thanks John, I'll keep that in mind. I'd like to offer the same, but no room here to park a rig, and I live on a very steep hill.

But I'm happy to go out and meet someone.

I live in a very prominent caravan park in a very accessible place north of Adelaide. Any GN's I haven't invited for a cuppa or whatever, you're always welcome here.
If you want a site I think it's about $28/night or thereabouts. Amenities are very clean, sites are clean gravel, well organised, and mostly drive through. No concrete slabs though.
A little warning by PM and I can give you my mobile ph number to arrange to meet you at the gate or your site.

Forgot to mention there's also a quite nice overnight camp (No. 118 in camps 6) about 2klm from my place.  Nice park with toilets on the highway north side of Gin Gin.

Cheers,

John

Well I have not been on here for a while but looks like I picked the best time to pop in, PAV on offer. Yumm.
OK well have been on the road 18 months now full time and frankly, I dont know what took us so long to do it. Are having a ball. We dont ever plan to go back to the dull every day life of domestic home owners now. lol Why would you, when you can live where ever and when ever you want in the nicest places this country has to offer.
At the moment we are cruising the Mid North Coast, NSW. Have checked in to North Haven for a month, and booked into Forster for the month of March, then up the inland to Lightnening Ridge and Moree to soak in the hot springs for winter.
Does it get any better?

Hope all are well and had a great xmas and new year.
Paul and Kerri.
