I have been a visitor here for a long time but took the plunge and joined up.
I presently have a caravan but have found it too hard to handle to due sub-standard health.
The plan is to change to a camper-van to continue with the travel i love doing.
I have found a lot of inspiration from a lot of people that are members here.
My hero is "Happy Wanderer". I loved reading of her trials and tribulations that I could read while at work in the Middle East, thinking how I would have loved to have been able to help her if I was at home.
Thank goodness people do follow their dreams, some times against what feels impossible.
Hey hey you guys leave him alone, he's mine. lol Thank you so much Brian, what a wonderful thing to say. You have made my day. I see you live in Bundy. My son used to live there, now lives out at Biggenden. I will be up there mid year. Perhaps you need to read the meeting thread for Gympie Cobb & Co 9 mile camping ground starting 14th May. Expect to see you there. Gosh, I'm so chuffed, must go out and tell Myrtle.
So you're now a member instead of being a lurker Bear. Welcome!
I have very dear friends living in Bundy and Bargara. It's a very familiar town to me. As Marj said, check out the thread under 'Get togethers' for details of our meet near Gympie in May.
I did say earlier that Uncle Al is hanging around me Marj. I must say though, on the end of the camera is close by, that's my excuse anyway. I hope all's well up your way Marj.

That would be great Brian. The meet will sort of hang around for up to two weeks with different ones coming and going, would be great if you were able to pop in during that time from 14th May onwards. You must have wondered when you came back on here to see your thread hijacked by a pack of sillies. But we are all good. Well most of us anyway.
