when the 'bikies' had their first party we were really worried but it was controlled very well and silent by midnight. Can't ask for more than that, and they only have parties twice a year - birthdays I presume.
Don't mind that and I know that they keep a tight lid on any trouble anywhere near their home, well they do around us anyway.

get the leaf blower out i say they make a tremendous noise lol and ide be going up the side of there windows with it for sure, bugger that fight fire with fire i say ,if you get a speaker from your stereo stick it someplace near a window so its bound to keep them awake and see how they feel .
Love all the suggestions. It would be great to return the favour & play our own music. I do still have some Black Sabbath & Deep Purple music from my head banging youth of the early 70's which might do the job but unluckily we have other neighbours to consider.
Today we had to close the windows & doors of the house it was so loud & we could still hear the words of the songs from 2 houses away. it went all day till about 8pm, at least it is a blessing they stopped then.
We're going to be distributing flyers promoting our tutoring school during the next week & when we drop one into their letterbox a letter will also be popped in which I have printed. It asks them to consider their neighbours etc & says I am reluctant to get in touch with the council to take action but I & other residents will have to if it keeps up.
Cheers
Jon

good luck with the noise, personaly , id rather put up with a neighbour and have loud music than having a pyco in your street like we had a few months agoi in a previous post, came home one day, a dozon cops, 2 ambulances and a firetruck some dude gone off his meds and on drugs going round tryng to stab people. nice ehh??
oh when i was younger, so much younger than today (er whats that song??) any way used to play in bands and many of my favorite gigs were for bikies, my drummers dad was one, so we got free beer and what ever else we wanted, i didnt drink tho , always designated driver... but still fun times,
If these doof, doofs are renting the place, and assuming they rent through an agent, they would be on a lease, which may contravene the lease. Might be worthwhile speaking with the agent about it.

if its a rental house find out who rents the house out go see the real estate if that dont work a polite call to the police ive had to do both before, but i will say one night i go a rather nasty female police officer said dont you think we have better things to do, i replied with yes ,but i have a grandson staying with me now and again hes only 2 (at the time) and he has a brain tumour so when he doesnt get his sleep its a little hard for us.

Nice idea thanks, I have thought of that but it's a bit hard to find out who the real estate is without asking the people renting.
Anyway, one house which had loud music during the day for a week straight had one very loud day & evening last Wednesday but thankfully, went quiet at promptly at 10pm. We havn't heard a peep out of them since. We found out it was a guys 18th bday so, my guess is, they hired the sound system for a week leading up to the party then returned it afterwards.
Now all we have to put up with is the night time doof doofers who aren't quite so loud but are still irritating. I guess the only consolation with them doing it through the night is we can call the police.
Cheers

We moved into the back bedroom to escape the traffic noise, and on Sat night there was a very loud party over the back fence
Just when we were ready to call the police about 1 am, the noise level dropped dramatically. We thought somebody had actually called the police but it turned out to be their landlady who lives close by. The b****s trashed her front garden later, drove over it, ripping out irrigation hoses etc.
Glad we didnt intervene!

I hope they were spotted doing it so they could be charged or at least kicked out.
That's why we don't want to confront these ones in person, too risky. There are too many violent, drugged up idiots around now days.
I prefer to put an annonymous letter in the letterbox then go to the authorities
Cheers
