RE: I had two biopsies

I've still got the bandage on my nose Beth. Dr said to let it come off tomorrow in the shower, if I try to take it off too soon it may start bleeding again.

Oh, mine said to leave it on for 24 hours then just pop a bandaid on.

Once the bandage comes off tomorrow I'm to leave it uncovered. She said it would look ugly for a while and don't be shocked with the size of the hole. It will heal and close up ok.
I'm also using that cream I got last week on 8 spots. 3 on face and 5 on back of hands.

Mine aren't very big. I'm assuming that if the pathology says it's something nasty, he'll have a bigger dig. hmm

Thank goodness I didn't have anything on my back. That would have been more of a problem with no-one here to check it for me and change bandage.

good luck to you all that are having your spots checked i had mine checked regularly but the doctor was not concerned about one of my moles
till i had a change, amazingly i noticed the change ,and even more amazing they got it all but it came back, but never to return i say

im ready to conquer anything that they throw at me now, today i have been diagnosed with lymphodema ,ive been to a lymphatic specialist
in maleny and she has showed me what i need to do, i now have a very tight stocking on ,and yet she said to me you are going to hate me
as im going to be ordering an even tighter stocking,i was like eeeekkks come on now.

simple reason , mary the specialist says lymphodema is not painful but guess what my foot is puffed up and extremely painful to get the stocking
over it and behind my knee is like an extremely gigantic sore vain inside my skin it kinda feels like wire in there ,so the lady has said you most
definetly have nerve damage and this is what is causing the pain.

as i said before ive been put on anti depressents Endep normaly used for epeleptic fits, but works on the nervous system ,well its not doing
much for me but helping me sleep, and apparently if this does not help i will have to have this different drug im sure she called it lycosell or something
like that and is rather expensive not on the pbs system ,so she thinks its a couple of hundred dollars a box, so im going to have to give it a go and see
if it works ,ill talk to my doctor or the hospital or when i see my surgeon on 21st of february and see what he says if im lucky he may be real nice and give me
some freebies to give it a try who knows.

but for now im patiently doing what i have to do tomorrow i will start my own first massage of the lymph system, my gorgeous youngest daughter
today had to massage her mums legs and BUTT of all things the lady taught her how and she was marvelous what a lil trooper she is

anyways everybody stay safe and keep them wheels a rolling xxx della xx

Hi Della, Lymphodema is carrying too much fluid isn't it?
You poor girl, you've certainly been through the wringer.
Those stocking are so tight, not sure how you are going to get it on yourself after showering.
My sister had her veins done last year and had to wear them for weeks after. She just gave up trying to shower as it was too hard to get the stocking off and back on again.

you got it happy ,once you get lymphodema you never get rid of it, you can only manage it that is all
if i didnt have the pain i wouldnt care im more concerned about the pain its so hard to get my leg straight
its incredible took me about ten minutes to get it to go straight out on the table at the physio

so i have to search some how what i can do,might even try getting hold of my old homopathic medicine man
who moved to melbourne gary han****, hes amazing and im sure maybe he would be able to help me .
'until then i just have to carry on as usual, your right about the sock its not easy to get it on and i cant imagine
what its going to be like to get a smaller tighter one on .

im back there next wednesday and ide say she will have it ready for me :(

I have a bandage on my ear and 2 stitches and a bandage on my back after a visit to the skin doctor today.
I go back in 2 weeks for review, and I have another mole removed in 3 weeks. I'm standing by for the results some time next week.
The previous moles have been good, so I'm not expecting anything bad to happen.

Certainly is an epidemic Rosie. Goinsoon is to be thanked, (I think). Will let you know when I get my results. Best to get it all sorted before heading off for the winter up north.
CG, Have you got your bandages off yet, how are you managing the one on your back??
