I am happy to report that the vendor has almost finished modifications, etc to my slide on camper.
He has been absolutely marvellous and will fit it to my ute when it comes time for me to take delivery.

Unfortunately, still plenty to do sorting all my other affairs out first, so I will have to wait a bit longer before I can head off.
I guess it will all still be waiting for me.
