Tug in dry doc

Hi all, thought I would let you know that my new (to me) tug is as I type this is on the back of a tow truck heading back to the dealer I got it from.

I'm not sure if I mentioned that only 3 days after getting it the top radiator hose blew of, clamp and all. Reason the the RACV drama. Any way the dealer sorted that out but it looks like some damage has been done to the head as the car has been blowing white smoke since last Monday (2 weeks later) and last night things went belly up so it looks like I will be car less for a while. I think I might get them to put a new radiator in and replace all hoses and the timing belt as well while they have it up there and it is pulled apart.

Me being a worry wort I am not sure if I should go ahead with my plans for the 2 months Townsville road trip now.

What are your thoughts on that?

Gee I miss Marg, she would know what to do.

Oh! The RACV had it all sorted in 30 mins this time, WELL DONE RACV. Maybe something is on my file now about my first experience with them. I am still waiting to hear back from them about the drama (previous post).

DOUG

Well dougwe if we let all little things stop us in our tracks no one would get to see this great country and right now the Townsville area is so rich and green as i saw when I flew home Thursday so keep travelling and maybe we can have a coffee when you get to Townsville

sorry to hear about your tug problems but good to hear that at last the RACV have got their act in order.

When you get the tug back drive around for a few days to make sure everything is in order and then head off on your trip and enjoy yourself.
