I got up early this morning, placed my card on the dinning table, headed outside to prepare for some jobs I plan to do today. About 1/2 hour later I came back inside, Syl was up and getting ready to go to work.
Low and behold, Sitting right next to the "Sylvie" card was an envelope with my name on it . I look at Syl and said, "are you for real, you accually remembered". I then rushed over and picked up the phone, she ask who I was ringing, I told her I am ringing Ripleys believe it or not .
This is only the second time she has has remembered (3 if you count the day we got married).
A kiss and a hug, the love ya, then she asks how many years is it now. Damm, we dont remember the year we got married . ( we will have to have a look at the marriage certificate)
We have been very fortunate, we are each others best friend. Any disagreements have been talked through, not argued about.

We celebrated our 50th anniversary on Dec 23rd and I am happy to say Irona an I are still the best of friends, in fact she is my best friend and I would be totally lost without her.
