Hi steve

if the panels are connected for 12v ,you should use a 30amp reg

20amp would /could be overloaded

I have a cm3024z which is smart reg, and runs all my panel. It shows voltage amps, used and made and can be programed to what you want. Its illastrated in a prior tread. Just go back til you find the tread. Bill

Hi, I have a 120W portable panel it is rated at 6.67A @ 18v so a 10A regulator would be fine but if you want to expand in future then a bigger regulator may be required.
I have a 200W fixed panel and its rated at 11.1A so a 10A regulator theoretically is too small ( but when do these panels work at peek efficiency). I have bought a 20A regulator for when I want to use both.
