A start, of sorts

Hi all,

I've started my Big Lap with a ferry crossing and quick run up the Newell Hwy et al to Brisbane.  Along the way I picked up a hitchhiker of the rodent variety!  Looked about in Brisbane for rat traps but they are sold out of the traditional (cheap) variety so opted for an expensive one but by then he/she seems to have vacated of his/her own free will.  My theory is it was running away from NSW politics and arrived in QLD just when they called an election:  It was too much for the critter so it ran off again.

I will be here until after Easter (new grandson!), then head off to Darwin & the Red Centre.

My departure from Tassie was delayed by the opportunity to go on a three week cruise of the SE coast - check out:-

for details & photos.

Hoping to run across some members on my travels, I'm in a Toyota HiAce poptop with "Loki CH 18, 40" on the back.

Cheers,

Loki

Excellent Loki.... hope the rodent didn't leave any babies. Great to see you have set off and look forward to hearing about your adventures.

Hi Loki,

I had a look at your blog and photos, excellent. I was wondering what your awning is made of?
