I just wanted to let everyone know that this thread has been closed because we have a policy of not discussing politics on the Grey Nomads forum.  This is because we have had political discussions in the past and have found that they can lead to heated exchanges, personal attacks and bad feelings.  We created this forum primarily as a place for grey nomads and wannabe grey nomads to exchange advice, stories and tips about travelling around Australia  ... and to have a bit of fun.  We would really prefer for everyone to avoid political discussions here.  Thanks for your understanding.
