just a quick note to say thank you to everybody that stopped and said there prayers for me and for smokeys friend, it seems so many people are
going through such a tough time lately.
Im heading to princess alexander on monday i hate driving to the city in fact the only place ive ever driven in brisbane is royal brisbane and so im not impressed at having to go to royal princess alexander as ive never been before
Graeme is going to come with me the first trip and he shall drive its just to talk about radiation we are going to voice our concerns as we heard from my doctor there is a place that does it in maroochydore however we are not so sure if its private or not, and we get stories of some people going every day for 3 month,i could not do that in thelong run as i wont be well enough to do that drive.
so lots to talk about with the doctors the only other thing is to try to get a set up in ronald mcdonald house some place on my own without graeme for the length of time that it takes,and perhaps him join me on weekends , its all so over the place and people tell me not to stress geesh
at the moment one day at a time i find otherwise i am stressing about anything and everything.
but once again thank you everybody for your well wishes and prayers
stay safe on the road, we had yet another tragedy the other night here just off steve irwin way on barrs road glasshouse a young nineteen year old killed plus one other 19 yr old in hospital and a fifteen year old.
speed no doubt and possible drinking at 1am in the morning hit a power pole.

Della the best way to thank everybody is to get better and beat this damned curse. Our prayers are still with you and Graeme, I know how Graeme must feel as I went through similar when Irona was diagnosed with bowel cancer. We were fortunate in that it was contained in the bowel and had not spread so after her op she was declared clear.
You just get well as fast as you can and remember that all our love, prayers and best wishes are heading your way each and every day.

Just leting you know, that the social worker at the hospital etc in conjunction with your local hospital can arrange accommodation for you, . When howard went through all his care at PA hospital, I was able to stay as his wife free of charge at Buranda Lodge which is across the road from PA. This was all arranged thru the cancer society. I was there 3 months. The rooms are beautiful, tv, shower, big double bed. And they service the rooms, all shops close by, supermarket etc. I used a fry pan for cooking, . oh lynette you made me feel so much more relieved ive been struggling with what im going to do in that matter for days now and its been stressing me out majorly ,i shall have big talks today with them ,im pretty sure though that they do that up here, so if im able to get it done up here then i can at least arrange for different people to drive me to it each time .
Im told its every day for however long it needs to be (radiation that is ) the letter i got says nothing about chemo so i am guessing that is a good thing so far .
