my blog started when I had the idea to travel full time last January 2011 and gives my thinking and actions up to setting off last August.
Since then I have been updating it regularly and now that I am in Bali the updates keep coming, the posting that I do regularly in the Solo Forum are exerpts from the blog.

Hi Ellen, yes the budget is working out fine and I expect a surplus by the end of four weeks.
Went to a small warung specializing in suckling pig the other day and had an inexpensive takeaway, around $2. Was nice with plenty of rice and not so sure of what else but am still fine.
