My ole Red Border is 15 this month, and was diagnosed with Canine Leukemia when aged 13 months. Was advised to expect a short life for her etc.
Now me ole mate is 15 and love her to bits.
Still asks to go out for a pee in the early hours and decides it is then play time and wants to play soccer with me.. Complain...Nah ! How could I.
yeah ben used to do that too at 3 am some times!!
and he too had that Canine Leukemia , when i first got him , he was about 3 or 4 years old then... really close call, but had him for another 8 years or so after that..
dogs are wonderful if given the right home and love,
