Alas, Gypsy has to go.

The time has come to say goodbye to my little Gypsy.

Son has spiffied her up a bit, I've washed and cleaned so she's ready to go.

I'll be a little sad to see her go, but I've found a new love with Lulu.

Its the caravan finished? I am looking to put the slide on on a trailer(which I can build myself), as Its diabolical to get on and off the ute.I shall post as I build the trailer.I hope you have a great time. Bill

Bill, the Nipper,,,Lulu,, is finished on the inside. B-i-l is away at the moment but when they get back he's going to do a few things to the outside.

I can see that getting yours off and on would be a hassle Bill. But really, come on, admit it, you just love all that tinkering don't you! wink

Thanks Gerty, I hope so too.

The next step of this nomadic lifestyle. Some start with a swag, upgrade to a tent, then a camper trailer, then a small caravan or campervan or motorhome. It's progressive addiction.
I get the best of both worlds with the caravan and my "spare room" and cot tent.
It's all good fun.
Don't be too sad Beth. I reckon you have a lot of photos of where you've been with the little Nipper to go back to when you feel separation anxiety.
Just look at what you have now? You're a big girl now, in nomad terms anyway.

smile Yes CG, I started with a tent. I still have the tent actually, but I'd have trouble putting it up these days...crook knees and back.

And yes, I do have lots of photos of our travels together.

Now it's time to make many more photos with Lulu. She'll be the last though. No money left to upgrade again. I'm looking forward to making more memories with her.

I have Gypsy advertised on Gumtree and Simple Traders...can anyone suggest any other sites that do free advertising?

I also have a for sale sticker on the back of her and she's still hooked up to the car, so where I go she goes, free advertising. biggrin

Try this one Beth, free online, also can ring and get a free ad in the printed paper as well.   Is used by both those in the East as well as WA, see some info here, click on home to see the main page, then Motor and Marine, etc etc.

http://www.quokka.com.au/template.php/about

PS:  Need to renew add weekly, still free though.....
