CG, no not a pet. Theres a thread a few pages back I started about how fast wombats can run.

Was at Cradle Mountain in Tasmania when I saw a pair of adults and a joey. I had to take some photos.

Wombat has a photo of the joey at bottom of his posts, and which you may note he has credited the photo to me.

r & s yes it was delightful, after the initial shock of the big fella charging at my leg, (please see my earlier post.) I played rugby in my youth and was tackled by some big buggers. Daddy wombat would have cleaned up one, if not both of my legs worse that anything in my playing days had he not changed direction.
