Make sure you look for Greens Lake. Green Lake is over near Horsham. It is only a day stop and no where near as nice a spot to stop.

Hey Jimbo,   'No Trail Bikes'. Is that a new rule you've instigated since we were there in November!!!!!!  biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Here at Greens for the first time - and I love it!! Lots of people in as it is a long weekend - but no problem - plenty of room, mostly families, so not a lot of late goings on!
This is one of the places you can keep on coming to - heaps to see and do - going to try bike ride tomorrow - wish me luck!!!

Hi Jules are there any other GN's there.  Best of luck with the bike, I'm sure you won't fall off like me the last time I tried.

There were a couple of GN's there - Shady & Me, Norma, and Michael have been hanging around there since New Year.
It is a peaceful, comfortable spot to squat for a bit of a rest.
I camped there New Years Eve with about 1000 other campers, and apart from the toilets blocking it was very orderly.

A very nice spot, free camping, loos n water, swim, fish or ski or do what we do and be entertained by the folk using the boat ramp while sitting with a glass in hand at sunset. Join Michael n Norma round the fire after dinner then after a great nights sleep wake to the sunrise over the lake. Perfick! Nice wineries nearby too. A great spot to recharge the batteries. Get there when I can.

Just back from a few days at Greens with some lovely people. It was magic. Michael, Norma, Jules, Billeeee and myself. Tess called in for a cuppa.
Busy weekend being a long weekend here but this morning woke up to silence except for a kookaburra in the distant. The lake stayed a mirror finish till about 3pm this arvo when some families came out with their boats.
Had a nice relaxing few days so I can get back into packing boxes.
Grey Nomads are the best. I have been offered every possible bit of empty space in their vans to take some stuff up to Qld for me. What would we do without this wonderful forum.
Oh, and I saw Jules riding the bike all over the park grounds. She did really well.

No, must admit I started reading them but couldnt understand what they were saying. I watched the youtube link you provided though and that helped. I guess I'd better persevere with the help files though. All I really wanted to do was get some text within the photo.

Thanks

Geez, Michael and Norma will be charged rates soon. Talk about long-termers.
It's a great spot even when it's busy. We found the boat ramp quite entertaining over New Year.
It doesn't take much to entertain and amuse some GN's.
Pour a bevvy of choice, sit back, "chillax" and get yourself a good laugh.
Have fun folks.
