Greens Lake Easter.

Just wondering whether anyone from the forum would be at Greens Lake over Easter. Thought we would call in for Easter Monday night on our way back from Canberra. Cheers Glenda

I will have already gone north by beginning April Glenda.
I am sure Jimbo intends to be there over Easter. Bound to be others as well.

See what you started Marj? It's a great, accessible meeting spot for GN's.
Jeez Easter! Bloody hell, I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet. The year will be gone and I'll be still sitting here with a bandage on my ear.
How can we slow it down a bit? I'm not ready to get older yet.

I'm sure going to miss Greens lake when I head north CG. Will look forward to coming down next summer for some camps out there with whoever is there.
Not sure if I would want to camp out there over winter anyway, Can get real cold around these parts at night. Easter would be late enough I feel.

Hi Marj, after reading some of your other post's etc, are you leaving Vic for good? or are you just going north for an extended trip?

Oh well Marj, you will just have to drive backwards now when you come down. When do you hit the road and what area are you heading for? You can PM if you prefer. Now you will be known as a mexican. biggrinbiggrin

Greens Lake sounds like a very nice place.  I'm new to the forum and would like to know exactly where it is.  Which state?  Thanks, June smile

June, Greens Lake is in Victoria. North Vic, In behind Elmore which is above Bendigo. On the road from Elmore to Shepparton.

Hope you won't be driving to Melbourne on Easter Monday Sue, it is the worst day of the entire year to drive anywhere. We used to visit my Mum in Cobram over Easter and one year it took us 7 hours to drive back to Melbourne (usually a 3 hour trip). After that we always took the Tuesday off as well so we wouldn't have to drive home on the Monday.
