I hope it is Jimbo as I spent a bit of time with David and asked him to give us all a bit of a deal as we are not all loaded with cash and he came to the party willingly.
I think this is a service to all nomads as a deal which is available to us. However, it would be nice if this guy would place an ad on the site with Cindy. No such thing as a free lunch. The offer is great. Thanks for the heads up Red Dog.

We have just bought an Isatphone at the Brisbane 4x4 show from TC Comunications, the ones that sponsored the Photo Competition a year or so ago. Especially sought them out because of their sponsorship. Mark from TC was most helpfull.
That's a good turn around. Good thinking K1W1's. That's how these things do get around. Back scratching is the basis for all good business. The greedy corporate businesses lose that personal service. If they advertise on this site we should try to support them if we can. It's called marketing and public relations. Keep up the good work.

Cindy, what about having a permanent small add for TC as seeing they sponsored the Photo comp. There have been a heep of newbies these last 12months, what do you think. I may even contact TC and suggest it myself.

well guys i was just passing on what I thought was great value and there credit is the cheapest I can find any where less then a dollar a minute but to each there own,
I didnt mention anything about putting an add on this site or any other place I just saw the chance to get a deal for my fellow members and took it, as I said he is one of the biggest dealers in oz and he is doing us the deal not us him, I spent the last month travelling with him and he is a very genuine guy.
Thanks. I appreciate that this is a genuine offer. However, we try very hard to keep promotions of particular products or deals out of posts and threads. Of course we encourage grey nomads to talk about good experiences (and bad experiences) but there is a fine line. As you can imagine, we get lots of people who create posts just to promote their own products/services and that is not what we want. If anyone is unsure of where the line is, please contact me first by PM or email and I can advise.
Cheers wombat I think from know i will just shut up and good.
in my opinion you were only passing on info for members, I would have thought that was what this site is all about, but I suppose Cindy has to try to get some cash in with paid ad's to help with the cost involved in running this site, cos nothing's free these days, oh except wombat poo
Sorry Red Dog if I have offended you. Just wanted to put TC s name out there for all the Newbies. Cindy has PM ed me about it. See you around sometime Mate , Brandt.
I don't think you did any harm or anything naughty. If anything it was my suggestion that they place an ad. My old PR and Marketing training jumping to attention. Always tap into a $ opportunity. However, the recommendation could go to the "recommendation" corner. You done good Red Dog supporting a fellow traveller and the service provided.
