We tow a Suzuki beind the M/H & this morning I drove the few 100m into town for a loaf of bread. Then Keith went off for a drive & as he went up the road a small snake (probably a tree snake) crawled up his leg & then across the passenger seat. he handled the matter quite calmly & got it outside the car but if it had decided to crawl up my leg earlier I think I would have bailed out & left the snake in the car with it still moving down the road. So did we bring this animal with us as well from Westwood? What's next??
Tree snakes are very curious creatures. I've had one visit me on an outside lounge up north, whenever I'd sit down to read. Used to come up. and along the back, to about a foot away, then just sit there watching me, 'til I finished.
Well we came home last night too after 4 weeks away - glad there were no snakes waiting for us! Worst we had were March flies and mozzies (and the bites to prove it!) Glad the snake story ended up well.
What an experience! I would have been crapping myself. I don't think they are aggro, but I'm not sure about the bite. Something to tell everyone along the way.

Blimey! I nearly crashed a vehicle when I saw a big spider on the window right beside my face... so a snake would definitely have me bailing out in the middle of the road. Even a tree-snake, its the shock factor.
Had a baby brown snake in the car once, stopped and killed it with my high heel. That was back in the days when I wore them. Yes have had the huntsman under the sun visor when pulled down. Life in the country brings its challenges. Bur great ones as well, an echidna in the back yard, antechinas nesting in the laundry and musk lorikeets eating our fruit.
