Hi everyone :)

Just arrived home from 2 weeks . & nights in free camps, 7 in C cp First real time in free camps First was at Wannon Falls just outside Hamilton (vic) No water in falls, but a good camp area. Long drop s, ok. Met nice people   Then 3 nights C P at Coleraine, small, neat quiet. 5 nights at Mt Dam at Rocklands,., GOod area, large, quiet, once we got there on rather corrugated roads. Can stay there as long as water holds out. Water in dam at present. Then to Horsham C P . Lovely , then to a small, nice park on a lake at Beaufort. So a mixture. :)

There is so much to see in Victoria. So many hidden spots. I'm a NSW import but I do like Victoria for that reason. Nothing is too far away and it is so diverse. As I'm not a swimmer the fact that the water is cold doesn't bother me. Gad u had a good time.

Glad you had a good time away, I know all the places you have been, pretty good choices fo a couple of week break, bet your ready to go again, ??

We are going to a place called Nug Nug over Easter, about 14k from Myrtleford in north/east Vic. have not been there before, hope there is plenty of room at the Reserve. If not we will find someplace nearby to camp

Been a few years since we stopped in Coleraine.
We were with a 4WD group and used the Caravan Park as a base to explore the lower part of the Grampians and follow the Glenelg River from source to sea.
Recall the Caravan Park was good and cheap, meals at the nearby Pub excellent, however the highlight back then was the great Chocolate Shop, last on shop on left as you head west out of town biggrin.
