On the Maleny showgrounds Web site has a message no camping between 19 -23 April because of music weekend ,

There is camping, you have to pay the "maleny music week end"organizers on their site on the net because they have hired the whole showgrounds for the week end. so only those who are going to the music week end will be able to stay. it is about 85 to 90 kms north from Brisbane. go north up the bruce highway, turn left at Caloundra turnoff and go to Landsborough and signs will take you to Maleny. There is a 12% grade up the blackalls range if I remember correctly from memory. rocket n strop

No rocket has the right dates but the but the show ground has excluded camping at that time of Maleny Music weekend, maybe it is at the showgrounds and haven't got room for both , WE were going to Maleny showground at that time and when we look at the showgrounds web site it states no camping froom 19 to 23 rd April because of Music Week
Another case of "Where is it?". Where's Melany? Can you please list the location of a town or camp when you name them. It would really help duffers like me and save me scrambling through Google maps or the Camps atlas.

Oh, that Melany! I think I had a pie there once. I just wanted to know the geographical location of the township for general interest. Thanks for all the details. Very handy for anyone attending the weekend. Sounds like a hoot.
