'Gopher' Mobility scooter

I have my Fathers Mobility Scooter for sale, I am thinking of putting it on E-bay, but thought i would offer it on the forum first. as it is virtually brand new as i bought it for him in late November, and the following week he was admitted to hospital, then to the nursing home, and unfortunately passed away early march without going home again.

It is a four wheel model, with a 30 klm travel range, has only done approx 2 hours travel, so is brand new, and comes with a smart charger

it Retailed at country care in Bendigo for $2750.00 when i purchased it and if any forum members are interested, please send me a PM  as i will not be putting it on E-bay until Monday, if no interest here

asking price for forum members is around $2000.00 or very near offer. the unit is currently at home on the Bellarine Peninsula, however i could arrange transport to Melbourne if required.  Thanks dazren.

PS. hope i am allowed to put this on the forum ???? if not ? Cindy could you please just delete it, and i will understand.  Thanks.

I'm glad to say, at this point, I don't need one.
You could put it up on other forums and then Gumtree before you go the way of ebay.
I wish you all the best selling the gopher. It's just a shame you had to lose the occupant. I appreciate your loss.

smile Thanks C.G. did not think of Gumtree, will try that first. and thank you for your thoughts ! Dad was 89 and in good health for 87 of those years, but when he lost his ability to freely move around, he went downhill quickly, and said to me on many occasions over the last 2 months, that he was tired and ready to go and be with his 'Dot' again, and he went peacefully.

Kiwi-as ! do we really want 'wombat to be 'mobile' what if he comes visiting he might not want to leave, yawn   Do you really want that ?????? biggrindisbeliefbiggrin
