Back to Nug Nug ??

Spent a fantatic 5 days at Nug Nug campground at easter, weather was terrific, 24 deg and no wind, nights a bit chilly but nothing the Campfire could'nt handle, $5 per person per night, and another $5 for power, parked beside a great fast running creek, Heaps to see and do in the area, only scratched the surface at Easter.

So i went back to work, said to the boss, Anzac day falls on a wednesday this year, so i am thinking of taking the monday and tuesday as well,

He said no problem, I said gee that was easy ?? so how about i take the thursday and friday as well. he said 'hmmm' ok then !! [ He knows that i don't take no for an answer ] so I am off tomorrow for a full 8 days, The weather won't be as good this time. but the place will still be the same.

I am posting this to brag i suppose, but also to let you all know that i do not want to hear that you have all been picking on my Mate, while i am away, you know who he is  He has his own Town, with his own postcode, with his own 'Pub' with lots of beer, and Bourban and Coke.....[ see i know how to pick a friend ?? ]

So i will not be on here for the next week, as there is 'no reception' at Nug Nug, so i will be off line until the end of month.

Happy, Healthy, and Safe times to you all until i return.   dazren

Shhh, wombat will not know you spoke to me if you don't tell him.

My late wife's mum and dad owned the Wandiligong Pub near Bright Vic. when she was younger and grew up in that area. Nice little pub too and cold beer. They had a resident wombat for many years but the wife always said it was more trouble than he was worth, mmmmm, that sounds familiar. biggrin

dazren and Doug, I am reading this post, dazren I hope you noticed that Doug said "owned the Wandiligong Pub near Bright Vic" when he said OWNED that means they do not have it now, but used to own it, that's in that past. biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

We should arrive late in Tuesday (ANZAC eve) for 8 days as members of the ACC Bayside Wanderers.

It is however dependent on the weather.
Don't want to spend 8 days sitting in the van watching the rain.

Cheers, ozjohn.

Darn it! Theres also a Nug Nug NP near Carnervon Gorge Qld, I thought you meant there, and got excited because we are heading that way. By the looks of the NP info theres no campground at the Qld Nug Nug.

I think you mean Nuga Nuga Rosie. Lake Nuga Nuga in the Nuga Nuga NP. And there is camping. By the lake is awesome! Nothing there but you and the wildlife!

It's a long gravel road, but not too bad 2 years ago, don't know about now. We came in from Injune.
