Welcome Snap.  Glad you worked out what the problem was.  As I said on the other Forum, I would think there are hundreds, judging from what I've read on a number of different Forums.

Heaps of people travel on the aged pension, and have a ball, Free camps etc, and rent assistance from centrelink you can put in a claim. ask centrelink your entitlements for rental assistance when you travel and have receipts for paid camping places.

Yes we travel on the pension have been doing it for some time just have to work your budget out carefully we may not be able to pay for all the touristy things but hey we are out there enjoying seeing this wonderful country of ours Helena.

Anything is possible, I guess you have to adjust your lifestyle to your income. Lots of people seem to do it and have a darn good time while they do. I am yet to see how I manage on the pension, once I hit the road. For me, just "being out there" will be enough.
