TV Visited

Well, here in down town Townsville at the Big4 Woodlands we had a visit from Discover Down Under yesterday afternoon. Frank and his team were filming around the park and I think around Townsville. The episodes are usually about 6 weeks away so I will keep my eyes on the show each week, I do anyway.

I have had the great pleasure of meeting Frank a few times and just love his work, I remember years ago going to see Ol' 55, what a great Talent, a very funny man too. His family are very nice as well. What you see on tv is what you get off tv.

I've heard of that program Doug, but don't know that we get it in Qld, I'll have to look out for it.

I loved Ol' 55 too. I saw him on a short-lived program which I forget the name of, but each celebrity had to recognise a tune, and he won that night. Of course, he had a 'longer memory' than the other celebs.

I just followed Doug's lead. I watch them all so now you've got me confused too. Actually I think you could be right.

Can't remember what the show is called but the one with Frankie Holden and family present is usually shown in QLD as well

This is the person and show who had to remove a previous program as he used photos from an organised rally and used it to attack people who bush camp.

Had to withdraw the show and the clip on their web site and put out an apology.

Have not seen the show as I don't watch TV but he came under a lot of abuse on most of the RV forums.

He also owns a park.

Regards
Brian

Ooops, you are correct Travel Bug, it is "What's up Down Under", very sorry Marj and everyone else.

Just shows I wouldn't make a very good leader. I will leave that up to the younger ones now.

It's the heat here Marj.
