led lights

we have been scouring the net looking for led lights for our van , the tube lights that are under the cupboards over the working surface areas, but to no avail. has anyone got a site we can buy some from? also just a heads up that you can get some leds for your bed lighting at bunnings for around $9 ,we have put 4 of these in and they work great

I buy mine from Ebay or Dealextreme.

I have been buying the strips of 5 mtrs and then cutting them to length. There are water proof ones and non waterproof. About $10 for 5 mtrs.

Cut in the designated spots and then solder a lead but be aware of the + and - which is printed on the strip.

One strip did all my cupboards inside and they all have a small micro switch so they only work when the door is open.

I have a water proof strip outside under the awning stuck with double sided tape.

DealExteme have 1 mtr strips etc.

Just put LED strips into ebay and happy bidding.

Regards
Brian
