Day two at Cobb & Co camping ground was just perfect .. after a cold night at 5 degrees, it bloomed into the perfect day .. tonight there is but a handfull of vehicles spread across the 50 acres as the long weekenders have headed home.
Its drying out nicely down on the flat areas and the forecast seems to be staying dry for at least another few days.
Any doubts I/we had about this place are gone .. the support of absolutely great hosts just enhances it all too ..
Yes Marj .. pretty much a high of 25 predicted for here .. so far (touch wood) there has been very little wind which enables us to enjoy all the sun that we have without diving for wind breaks ..
Another beautiful, still, and cloud-free start today too ..
Jon

.. and a further bit of info for you that might come in handy..
.. there are now two main amenities blocks with shower blocks not too far away from each other.
There are also separate toilets scattered at various spots between some of the little camping shacks which is good .. We've had a fire each evening too .. Firewood can be purchased here as well, and we'll probably have to put in an order tomorrow for some more.
The days have been excellent ! .. but bring your 'woolies' for the evenings. It does chill down quickly .. we light our fire pretty early so we can get it ready for the evening.
We're lucky to have pretty much free reign with our music .. running up to 12 hrs today .. mind you .. its all "oldies" stuff ..Young folk like Beth will probably need to have it explained to her .. ha !
I am really sorry to tell you all that I am unable to be there.
I'm still having problems with my knee from a ridiculous accident that I had before Easter. Today's ultra sound showed that it still has a fair way to go before it heals.
I am really disappointed not to be catching up with all of you...but it will happen some other time.
Have a ball...and don't do anything that I wouldn't enjoy
How I wish I could be there, but tied down with house and business.Business is for sale, and I haven,t decided whether to sell the house or rent it out. The slideon cum caravan is on the road and I am just finishing the tool boxes. Its even smaller than yours, Beth.Have a great time. Bill

I thought I was pretty knowledgeable of old music, but you certainly stumped me on a lot of them Jon. I hope you've been practicing 'Bridle hanging on the wall'. I expect a good rendition.
I can't get there until Monday Marj. I'll drive to my sisters on Sunday, then hook up and come on over. It's only an hour from my sister at TCB to C&C.
