Just had a look at some of these camper trailers on ebay
first thing will not be going off road going to leave it up in queensland save taking my caravan up to expencive to get across bass straight and we thought it would be warm up there so tent would do the thing
any one seen or had any thing to do with them
i know you can buy more expencive ones but its a penny thing limited income now
no just wondering what some of these cheap ones would be like for doing a few days here and there while we are you at the kids, also let them use it when we are not there
Cowboy - we had a camper trailer for 10 years - Dingo was the brand, available in Dandenong Victoria - the price was very reasonable, had none of the bells and whistles, but it never leaked, we paid $4300 and sold it for $3500 10 years later - it was very "experienced" looking - red dust gets into everything - but it was a very tough unit - we bought the off road version - took it eveywhere. Right round the country, into the Bungle Bungles, down the Oodnadatta, and many other off road places - never had a problem. Very quick to erect - has an internal frame - friends have just paid $43,000 for another brand, takes them at least half an hour to get it up and "livable", we could be in bed in 15 minutes!!!
Don't know what brand you were looking at, but I would have no hesitationin recommending the Dingo.

Be careful of cheap CTs....Chinese imports are not the quality of Aussie made ones...you might get 20 years of an Aussie made canvas....only a couple of years from an import......I've seen some silky type of material ones ...also some are cheap cause they are very low when erected.......and trailers come kit form
only new to the forum..but i thought i would throw in my 2 cents worth...my suggestion is to buy a cub...there are heaps of nice campers available..and the price variation helps with your choice...i have had 2 over the last 20 years..first a drifter..which was great before thr kids...now i have a kookaburra..rear pull out....not climbing over the wife when i get out of bed to go fishin...we love it..its a great size for a long weekend just about every weekend....bob
