We recently visited the gold fields west of mareeba and stopped in at a little bakery in DIMBULAH which has some of the best cakes, sweets and coffee ever tasted by man!

The pies are probably the best I've ever eaten and the owner always leaves you with a smile.

 

Definately worth the stop!!!!smile

Really good pies are getting harder to find . I've heard about the Dimbulah ones before , but never been there .

 

Best I've had are from Hodges Bakery at Eumundi Qld. . They are specials too .

The best small apple pies are made in Bunyip Victoria - so I have been told by an applie pie gourmand!!!!
