And look what you come home too? We're still having fun.

Now Wombat, I guess if I've been naughty I could think of no one else I'd rather go to the naughty corner with.
Just think of the stuff we could get up to, and the plots we could thicken. The possibilities are endless.
OOH, come on old bloke, let's get into some plot thickening. Mrs. Wombat permitting of course. She could join us, or at least bake muffins and keep us sustained.
What do you reckon?

last  time I was there it was great, there was a 42inch plazma and a coffee machine, all mod cons included, and no rent to pay, don't know why they call it the naughty corner, I don't mind going there as long as we can keep Dougwe out, he was there sometime ago so we may have to change the locks cos I know for a fact that he had his own key cut to let himself in whenever he wanted to, sneeky bugga that Dougwe.

welcome back cocoalover, hope you had a great trip, we are away next week for one month, we also have another 3 week house sit in August.

If you check out the thread 'do we do it' there was some 'disagreement' there and it was handled well - a PM - a sorry - and everyone moves on. Now that's how it should be done. And we can all enjoy each other's company. And I love wombat's quick sense of humour.
But know nothing about Collingwood and Lions so can't commiserate with jimbo.

And the follow up to this, is that we have been invited to call in and have a cuppa with Cowboy on the way to the ferry on Tuesday.

An invitation we cannot resist.

Your memory has slipped wombat, all that good stuff has been taken out now, it's just a bare corner and no seats, so you just sit facing the wall with your legs crossed. It is a naughty corner.

As for the muffins, they are a no no for sure, no luxuries allowed just bread and water, oh, it's not fresh bread.

The key I have is a MASTER key so changing the lock will not work, sorry about that.

I have actually heard from a source that shall remain silent that the door is coming off as well so we can see what is going on in there. smile

Doug, I will have a talk with Cindy, I do not believe she would let this happen to a wombat and his friend CG. biggrin

Not much point in taking to door off, cos we would all run away, not a good idea at all IMHO

Another point, if there is no door we can easily go to the local baker's to get our muffins. biggrin  and the local pub to get our beer, so you can stick your bread where the sun don't shine biggrin

Mmm, I had to make a quick phone call to the silent one. The door stays. Razor wire going up around the perimeter of the building as well. I think that is to keep unwanted's out. smile

I forget what the original topic was about now, oh well, probably best that way. smile

I have had a look at some of Rodandjean's postings on this forum and found them to quite negative and if they got offended by Chi Chi's comments they are very thin skinned indeed so I say bye bye to them

Oh dear well bit like being in a classroom of naughty kids i say ,geesh we all have an opinion in my eyes
And if we werent different then how would this earth work ,i read the post about smoking dont have much to
Say ,hubby is a big smoker rollies thank goodness they dissolve because its paper not a butt , i too
Smoked until i got sick but never a bg smoker, my hubby smokes too much but he as a highly stressful job.

I reckon if you cant be on a forum and have an opinion or some form of input bt put it kindly whats the point
Of saying anything at all, i love my hubby with all my heart and wish he would give up but until hes ready
I have to put up with it and the cost .

Lets all try to get along here hey one life one chance is it realy worth bickering over ,people tend to
Go on about such trivial things in life ,when there are others out there living day to day and trying to
Hold onto what they have, honestly smoker/ non smoker at the end of the day doesnt realy matter or
Mean anything syill human :)

thank you wombat i appreciate that, yes i agree i wish graeme would give up but they say the more
you harp them the more they tend to not do it, i only hope he never gets sick because im too worn
out lately to look after a sick person on top of what i have.

but as i said in another post about coca cola he lives on coca cola and ciggies, and many others
live like that too and dont get sick ,graeme never gets sick ,so go figure ,people are always talking
to me about how they know someone that never smoked, drank ate good food only and got cancer
so figure that one out because i cant.

I always say its the luck of the draw and you have no choice in the matter ,but we carry on .
i love your avatar by the way where do you get these things from ,your a character and i am
sad to see you wont be at the get together but never mind we shall meet up one of these days hey.

cheers wombat .

yes I agree, it has to be the person that is smoking that wants to give up, and no amount of nagging will change their mind until they want to do it, just a fact of life.

Graeme needs to watch the cola, very very high in sugar content.

Most of my av's are from the net and I do some work on them to change them to what I want to say.

here's a site you may like to play with, just upload your own pics, don't tell too many GN members or they will all be doing mag pics biggrinbiggrin

We're brand new, today, to this site (or was that yesterday?) but I have read through a lot of forum topics and their associated posts and ... wow! they are all great. Sounds like family to me. I like Cupie's idea about writing, not sending, re-reading in the light of a new day then deciding whether to post or not, but really, I think if anyway disagrees harshly with a post someone has put up they should email and and discuss privately without demeaning the other person.
Looking forward to enjoying this site for many years to come.

Welcome Geobuz. This is probably not the best post to start your experience on The Grey Nomads forum. We are generally a very jovial and congenial bunch, well, except for a couple of blokes. Typical! They've been sent to the naughty corner for the time being.
It's really a very friendly, helpful site, and a lot of fun is had by all.
I hope you enjoy your stay. Safe and happy travels.
