Phew, how relaxing, and beautiful weather. We are housesitting in the Gingin, woodridge area of perth. It is so lovely to wake up to no noise, after being near the hyperdome in brisbane. Bliss. We are here for 4 months, have been to a little village called two rocks, really lovely, over the back paddock there are new lambs, . Going into perth next week for a look around. And looking forward to doing some fishing in the next couple of days. Sorry we missed you the other day cruising granny. You were escorting in your little truck, we had the windsor sunchaser caravan and isuzu white truck.
Our home base is Woodridge!! One son lives there and the boys go to Two Rocks school. There is a boat ramp just at the back of Woodridge if you are into fishing. you can also put your boat in there and go right thru to the coast at Guilderton. (the river is full from here to the coast but further up it is only an ankle deep trickle).Keep an eye on the notice board as you enter the subdivision as that is where all the community events are posted. Also ask at the PO agency (in the Hall) for a copy of the local paper..comes out monthly. Lots of craft activities at the shed next to the Hall.Craft shed is open most days and sells the Sunday paper. There is also an over 50's group that meet at the hall once a week for activities,games,outings etc.
