Yes those who must be obeyed also are good at aquiring items .Lol
If you Google free Android apps one should come up that is a book reader.
It's actually called Google play book reader so shouldn't be hard to find. The download and use bit I don't know about though.Shouldn't be too hard .They do want you to buy boooks so should be OK.
There will probably be others there too to check out.

Hi again: Thought I would ask this one while I am here. I bought a no name tablet from flea bay to play with for mapping. Better half has grabbed it and wont give it back. She has seen her friends kindle e-reader and has been told this tablet can be an e reader if she can get the right soft ware. I dont know what I am looking for. Can any one name any soft ware and were i can get it on the net. Hope that makes sense.
Hi Al, I have a Kogan ereader that I use to download from my local library. I had to get Adobe Digital Editions (which is free to download - just Google it) to get the books from the library to my ereader. I can nominate if I want to "borrow" the book for 2 or 4 weeks and at the end of that time I "return" it or if I forget to do that it just becomes unusable - no fines for returning late. I can also purchase books from Kobo, for example, if I want to. You need to know what format your ereader takes - EPUB or PDF are the two that mine uses - there are others I believe. Brenda
Google "freeware calibre" which is a free program that will convert any ereader stuff. I was given heaps of pdf books in Proserpine, Qld and am converting them to MOBI files for my Kindle. And it's free!
