There are nomads everywhere, they just might not be members of this site. There's no harm in recruiting members as you go.
Safe and happy travels.

We are also at the Longreach campsite . There are about 80 rigs here at the moment . Wouldn't have a clue which one Ken is in .

Been fishing the last 2 days . Found a good , quiet spot about 2kms along the river from the campsite .

Got 3 fish Sunday , and 3 more yesterday . Yellow belly and black bream .

Staying here until Thursday , then on to Winton , Cloncurry .

We are heading across the Simpson to Birdsville the last week of July, then up to Mt. Isa and Lawn Hill.

Will anyone still be around then?

those of you in lonreach, plenty to do, have a ride in the Air Boat, Stage Coach, visit the Qantas Museum better than the Hall of Fame in my opinion though it is still worth a visit. we called in there for a night and stayed 7. went touring from there down to a place i forget got one of the biggest shearing sheds around. a nice spot to stay for awhile. that river has never been dry since white man settled there. dont rush through the place.
