Running Colman roof top reverse cycle A/Con

Just looking for some ideas. I have aJayce MH with 2x150watt solar panels, 2x100A/Hr deep cycle batteries. I have a 3000w inverter laying around and was thinking of installing it in the MH question is would it run the A/C and a guess at how long it would take to flatten the batteries? I know its a long shot but if you dont ask you never know. Not sure I want to hook it all up and try it incase it over loads and causes more problems somewhere along the line.

Thanks in advance

How many kws is the aircon? normally these things are 2.5kw plus and would put such a load on your inverter and batterys that it would be unecomonical to run. Get a generater to suit or plug iinto power. I have a 2kw honda inverter genny, and it will run a small aircon.Bill

Yea thanks Bill, I do have a Kypor2600 gen that runs it was just thinking of it for the cold morning warmup or prebed cool down depending on where I am without the Gen annoying other campers.
