Anyone got any feedback or info on Roma Caravans??

Gidday Michelle, Ditto on Dougwe's comments from me, I spent 8 months looking for my last van [ 19' Lotus full ensuite ] it becomes a confusing nightmare out there so IF you think !! you have found the Right One and all your boxes are ticked,  go for it. !

To the best of my knowledge ''Roma'' have been around a long time, and i cannot remember seeing any bad reports about them,

Maybe after you check out if it has a toilet, [ at 27' i reckon it would ?? ] you could send a PM to ''Ozjohn'' he would know for sure on quality and reputation, and is most helpful on these matters. [ PM is best ?? ]

As i said you will get sick, tired, and confused, with all the hunting. I did ? then went  out looked again, and bought the first one that ticked all my boxes, and now i am happy, and not confused    See Ya  DAZREN

PS would you have a link to the van ??? so we can have a ''squiz ??

It gets down to personal choice Michelle but I do know 3 people that have one and they are very happy campers in deed. I reckon if the one you are looking at ticks all your boxes and is in good nick if second hand go for it. Another one that ticks all your boxes might not happen.

Thanks Doug I am just waiting to see if it had a toilet because it was not mentioned at all.  The ad only said shower and vanity so waiting on a response, if it has one I am putting an offer on it because other than the toilet it ticks ALL of our boxes and it is a beautiful van.

 Hey there Dazren,

I agree because I have seen some lovely Roma caravans and when I saw this one I thought oh my how awesome and everything was there and for the right price.

I am already going nuts looking at vans etc I have done nothing else for the last two months and we are heading off to Coffs Harbour tomorrow to look at Watsons caravans to look at sizing etc.

Dazren can I PM you the link?

Michelle

Make sure you know the weight of it and that you have or get a tow vehicle legally capable of towing it.

At 27ft, is it a tandem or tri axel....that is a very large van and you will have some restrictions with it.

Keep that in mind when you make your decision and you'll do well.

Thanks Boroma, I am arranging for my brother-in-law to go and look at it for me and he will go over it with a fine tooth comb so too speak.  The van just happens to be in QLD and I am in NSW lol which is not so easy to get there atm.

Roma sit well on my best buy list, so well that I designed our own van last year and had the boys at Rome build it for us.
Went for the top of the line Elegance and am very happy with the finish and service.
Feel free to PM me at anytime.
Cheers, Ozjohn.

I agree with Boroma577, 27' is a very big van. Check where they are taking their measurements from and to. It may not be as big as it sounds. But weight would be a concern.
