Rest Area Waypoints

I seem to remember from some time back that there were posts about adding rest area waypoints from the Camps books into a GPS.  I have searched this site but can't find a reference.  Googling hasn't got me far either.  Can anyone help please?

Try Googling Camps six ????? GPS

I have a Garmin so I put Garmin in the Google search.Put in your GPS and see if it comes up with your GPS version.

I know they have Tom Tom and Garmin not sure what others are available.

The site is not good for finding the POI versions.

Hope that helps

The camps book has the co-ordinates for most rest areas, I just go to the co-ordinates section of the gps & type in the co-ordinates & set go, works every time. Once set you can view the location on the map.

You may remember Jim, that Sis & Bil were directed to the back door of Cobb & Co by following the GPS co-ordinates in Camps 6.

Personally, I'm not really up on GPS, I just follow the directions.

Beth, once you have set a destination you can look at the entire trip plan , view turn by turn & view the trip on the map before you even start moving. If it is not the way you expect then you can make changes to the planed route.
