Gidday Al,  I agree with wombat

This Pric [OOPS penis] should NOT be able to just walk away ??

Ring the ACCC and complain, even if you don't get satisfaction, you can cause him some Grief !! and put a Black mark against his name

Good Luck   dazren.

Hi all: Any you guys know of an honest auto air conditioning guy in Adelaide

Had it all checked out and regassed about 4 months ago. The car has been sitting in the shed since with regular start ups and air condition running. Find out today it has a gas leak and needs various parts replacing. Went back to guy that did the regas says my fault doing too many klms over rough roads has created an other leak. When I showed him his invoice with mileage on it  compared to milage on odometer there was only 25ks different. He just said not my problem and walked a way. I would not mind if I just asked for a regas but I asked him to check it out and replace any thing that needed doing. Looks like he just went for the easy way to make a quick buck. Thanks for reading my rant I will stop now.

I agree with Wombat Al, ask their advice and then put the complaint in writing.

A/c regassing quite often brings on further trouble, when regassed it increases the opperating pressure back to where it should be which in turn puts more pressure on o'rings and seals. This creates leaks that were not evident till the system was restored. It is often impossible to detect these leaks for a few KMs after. You dont say if the repairer was an RAA Approved or not, if he was contact the RAA for assistance, if not contact SA Consumer Affairs.
