At Camooweal

I just finished some fantastic travels in the Northern Territory!  The National Parks are terrific, the Ranger talks interesting and informative, a great experience!

I allowed plenty of time, more than I needed actually, but better that way than not enough time; it even allowed for a quick run to Coober Pedy.  I've seen the Western McDonnells, Trephina Gorge in the E Macs, Uluru, The Olgas, Kings Canyon, Rainbow Valley, Devils Marbles, Elsy NP, Katherine Gorge inc Edith Falls, Litchfeild NP and Kakadu.  Stayed in Alice & Darwin for a week each, Tennant Creek for a few days to visit all the historical museums & other local attractions.  And of course - as everyone kept telling me - "Don't miss The Daly Waters Pub".

As I still have a bit of time, I shall return to Brisbane via the Matilda Way to Karumba, E along the Savanna Way to Atherton and then S, but inland a bit - route yet to be determined.

This travelling life is great, as a solo sometimes it gets a bit lonely but what a journey all up!

Cheers, Anton

ENVY....a four letter word.
I'm still held up with health issues, the campervan and trailer are loaded ready to go (except perishables) and facing the garage door......

Waiting for someone to shout out "Gentleman, start your engine"

Hi Anton

Maybe we will meet - am heading up to Atherton/Mareeba this week. Leave Mackay on Wednesday is the plan and maybe stop at Charters Towers first night.

Have HUKAROA on the back of the van nowwink

Hi Spida,
I'll keep my eyes open. My van has "Loki Ch 40, 18" on the back. I'm at Normanton now, look to heading E in 3-4 days along the Savanna Way.
