Bad accident outside the campground this morning - two cars - looked like one was passing and cut in too soon - on double lines!!!!!! Both drivers taken by ambulance - no passengers.
Traffic held up for quite some time, the diverted through the park past the scene - except for some of the big trucks, who could not get up the rise off the road.
Please, please, drive carefully, leave yourselves plenty of time to get where you are going, left a very bad taste in the mouths of the people in the camp.
love rocky ck did a trip through there with the subaru club the wife wants to go there in our van lovely little old cabins beautifull river stops but i guese theres hundreds af places out there in australia land waiting for us .
Will probably leave about Wed. next week. The Cruiser is booked into garage on Mon.Then heading towards Darwin also via Normanton,Karumba, so still maybe catch up with you both. As you would have read we have all been having a right royal time here.
Possibly leave here today - depends on how we feel - may not go too far - got to get water and other things in Atherton - hoping to see you guys Kiwi-as.

Thats ok Glassies - Rocky Creek in Qld is a great place as well - always worth the stopover for however long. Kiwi-as - we are still in Ravenshoe - this is a great spot - if the sun is shining tomorrow we will probably stay another day - or two!! So - we may yet meet up.
