One of the latest models of Motorhome (maybe Sunliner) have a water collection system fitted. I saw it at last years show.

We just drop one corner of the awning, put out a bucket or two and then using our 12 volt shower (remove shower head)pump the water into the tank.

What a good idea using the 12v shower as a pump. Never thought of that.

thanks

Young brother has a funnel from Supercheap that he's fitted a clip-on garden hose fitting to.  Drops one corner of the awning, allows it to run for a short time to get rid of dust, etc, attaches his water hose, then just runs it straight into his tanks once the hose is running freely (prevents air lock).  Been doing it for the past four years as will I once we hit the road.  Cheap, effective, light weight & takes up very little room.
