Just goes to show how you turn to your forum mate for info eh? I need to know if anyone can tell me anything about "Opalite" vans. Dero and I have sold the Traveller,, and now are looking for a smaller one. Saw the perfect layout for me in an "Opalite" van, but don't know too much about them. I'm of the opinion... no one brand has a monopoly of the market anymore,that standards have picked up, now so many of us are out and about, on the roads. Just need any info anyone can give.
You need to talk to "owners" of the Opalite brand of caravan, otherwise you will get the usual rubbish:- "not built for Australian conditions" , my neighbours frriend who knows a man down the road had one and this or that fell off, etc.
We have just left Coffs Harbour caravan park where there was two Opalite vans on seperate occassions. I made a point of chattinf to both owners and they where very pleased with there purchase and had had no major problems. Like most brands they had a couple of little things requiring attention, but they indicated to me that these had been attended to without any hassles.
Looked nice vans.
